Density Fluctuations for a Zero-range Process on the Percolation Cluster

چکیده
We prove that the density fluctuations for a zero-range process evolving on the d-dimensional supercritical percolation cluster, with d ≥ 3, are given by a generalized Ornstein-Uhlenbeck process in the space of distributions S (R).

Quantum Phase Transitions on Percolating Lattices
When a quantum many-particle system exists on a randomly diluted lattice, its intrinsic thermal and quantum fluctuations coexist with geometric fluctuations due to percolation. In this paper, we explore how the interplay of these fluctuations influences the phase transition at the percolation threshold. While it is well known that thermal fluctuations generically destroy long-range order on the...
متن کاملSTRING and PARTON PERCOLATION
A brief review to string and parton percolation is presented. After a short introduction, the main consequences of percolation of color sources on the following observables in A-A collisions: J/ψ suppression, saturation of the multiplicity, dependence on the centrality of the transverse momentum fluctuations, Cronin effect and transverse momentum distributions, strength of the two and three bod...
متن کاملShot Noise Suppression and Enhancement at 2D Hopping and in Single-Electron Arrays
We have carried out numerical simulations of shot noise at two-dimensional (2D) hopping and in 2D arrays of single-electron islands with and without random background charges. Such key transport characteristics as the average (dc) current 〈I〉, the single-particle density of states and the current fluctuation spectrum, have been calculated within a broad range of the applied electric field E and...
متن کاملContinuum Percolation for Gaussian zeroes and Ginibre eigenvalues
We study continuum percolation on certain negatively dependent point processes on R. Specifically, we study the Ginibre ensemble and the planar Gaussian zero process, which are the two main natural models of translation invariant point processes on the plane exhibiting local repulsion. For the Ginibre ensemble, we establish the uniqueness of infinite cluster in the supercritical phase. For the ...
متن کاملTransverse momentum fluctuations and percolation of strings
The peculiar behaviour of the transverse momentum fluctuations with the centrality of the collision shown by the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider data is naturally explained by the percolation of strings. In this framework, the pT fluctuations are nothing but fluctuations on the number of overlapping strings that form clusters in a heavy ion collision. According to this idea, the fluctuations sh...
